Salem Castle/Monastery is worth a visit. If possible, book a ticket with a guided tour (it only costs a little more) and allow plenty of time. There are three guided tours, each starting on the hour, and several museum rooms that can be visited additionally, as well as a spacious garden.

The complex is one of the most important cultural monuments in Baden-Württemberg, and rightly so! A visit is highly recommended. The entrance fee of €11 without a guided tour is absolutely OK.
