A very nice road for cycling and only moderate traffic. It's busy at the top, even in summer. They want to offer families entertainment and exercise. Not my style at all—but the people in the valleys can earn their living from it.

The team and the welcome are always so warm, the lunch perfect, the génépi difficult for the return 😁, a must-see if you're passing near, or by, the Col du Very. A new addition this summer: local goat sausage, a must-try 😋

The pass connects Véry and Joly, it is also possible to go to Megève or the other side towards the resort of Les Saisies

Little-known and little-frequented pass, the climb is done alone and without a sound in the forest. The view is magnificent and on arrival, the refuge allows you to have a small drink (⚠️payment by species only). The road is in poor condition and it can be disturbing on the way down. If you have a Gravel and courage, the thirst route (Gravel/mountain bike path) allows you to reach the Col des Aravis and is magnificent. A hill next to the Col de Very where you will find a beautiful stone cross with something engraved on it. The views, as always, are spectacular with Mont Blanc in the background. From this hill you can access the Col de Joly by paths.
