Contrary to what the name "museum" suggests, this isn't a building or a domain where you can wander around and admire all sorts of bicycles. No, they make "crazy" bikes (similar to the kind you can experiment with at De Lustige Velodroom in Blankenberge) that you can rent. There's also a drinks vending machine (at d'Oude Smisse).

After a short stretch of asphalt road: the Beddeneedstraat follows a beautiful field road the Beddeneedstraatje. Attention: a lot of passing of agricultural vehicles possible.

The café, built in 1880, was originally a relay point for ship pullers who pulled the boats from Melle to Ghent. At the beginning of June 2022, the café opened for one more day, for the benefit of Natuurpunt, with the owner (who also ran the inn himself from 1983 to 2001) behind the tap.
