Wonderful cycle paths lead through the Müritz National Park; you can drive here completely relaxed and let nature work its magic on you. There are also rest areas and a great place to stop for a break.

Unfortunately far too full with columns of rental bikes! Many of them can barely stay on their bikes and last cycled 30 years ago. Better drive towards Plau, it's just as nice there, but quiet.

Where the sea eagle circles in an endless sky, the osprey dives into the lake from dizzying heights and the trumpeting of cranes accompanies the spring and autumn of each year, is a landscape that reminds us of fairy tales and stories of days gone by. With its vast forests, glittering lakes and wondrous moors, it has something original, even wild, about it that awakens our awe of nature.

This cycle path always goes through the beautiful beech forest. There is also a fairly strenuous climb. The path is quite narrow in some places.

The cycle paths here are a dream for every cyclist. They wind through dense forests, over rolling hills and along sparkling lakes. It's a peaceful cycle where I only hear the crunch of the tires on the sandy surface and the chirping of the birds. I discover that the paths are well developed and suitable for every type of bike. Every now and then the surface becomes a little sandier, which requires a safer driving style, but that's exactly what makes this route so attractive. It's a bit of an adventure maneuvering through the natural nature of the paths. On the way I pass various rest areas that are perfect for taking a break and taking in the nature around me. I enjoy the silence, broken only by the gentle rustling of the wind and the distant rippling of a lake. What I particularly remember is the untouched beauty of the landscape. All around me is pure nature - forests that stretch to the horizon and clear lakes that shine like mirrors in the sun. I watch ospreys in the sky and cranes in the wet meadows.

Pure nature, very beautiful to look at, and a well-developed cycle path. Overall, a beautiful section of this route. An ideal place to experience the tranquility of the national park – far from the hustle and bustle and yet very close to nature. The path gently curves through dense beech and pine forests, past moss-covered forest floors and small clearings where deer and cranes can often be seen. Magnificent views of Lake Feisneck, whose waters glitter silvery in the sun, open up again and again between the trees. The shore remains mostly untouched – reeds line the shoreline, water lilies sway on the water, and with a little luck, you might spot sea eagles or ospreys circling above the lake. Several small rest areas with benches invite you to linger. This section is particularly atmospheric in the early morning when wisps of mist lie over the water, or in the late afternoon when warm light surrounds the trees.

Now at the beginning of May we had the path almost to ourselves... great path through beautiful nature. Beautiful views. Nothing for fast rides because forest roads. You should have a bit of fitness and then it's just fun

The Müritz National Park, founded in 1990, is located in the south of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is the largest terrestrial national park in Germany. The park extends over the two spatially separate areas of the Mecklenburg Lake District and part of the Feldberg Lake District. The larger western part is the Müritz sub-area, the smaller eastern part is called the Serrahn sub-area. The urban area of Neustrelitz essentially lies between the sub-areas.

It is definitely worth it for those who enjoy nature. Wonderful paths through forests, deer, resting cranes, blueberries. Just relaxing and I couldn't get enough of the great nature. Since I didn't see an eagle, I have to explore it again.

Great bike path. Beautiful to drive. From time to time a bit difficult due to the sandy subsoil. This requires a safe driving style.

With an area of over 320 square kilometers, the Müritz National Park, founded in 1990, is the largest terrestrial national park in Germany, is almost three quarters covered by forest and has around 100 lakes and many smaller still bodies of water. The national park is named after the Müritz, Germany's largest inland lake. The national park consists of the sub-areas Müritz and Serrahn. The larger sub-area Müritz extends southeast from Waren (Müritz) in the eastern hinterland of the Müritz to Neustrelitz in the east and Wesenberg in the south. The Serrahn sub-area in the east of the national park forms the transition from the Mecklenburg Lake District to the Feldberg Lake District. It is surrounded by the Feldberg Lake District Nature Park. The gently undulating landscape of the national park was shaped by the Vistula Ice Age. Here you will encounter a huge, species-rich flora and fauna, you can observe white-tailed eagles and ospreys, black storks and cranes as well as a wide variety of duck species, reed warblers and bitterns. During the migration season, numerous waders also stay here. Rare grass species and juniper stands are of botanical interest. The national park is fully developed with hiking and biking trails, rest areas, lookout towers and observation posts. A national park bus line including bicycle transport runs from Waren (Müritz) via Speck and Boek to Rechlin-Nord. The national park ticket is also available as a combined offer for bus and Müritz boat trip. https://www.mueritz-nationalpark.m-vp.de/

Life pulsates in the city harbor. Boat trips across the Müritz start here. The people of Waren and their guests enjoy the view of the water and the boats in the numerous pubs and restaurants. The Müritzeum is nearby. The promenade invites you to stroll. The colorful hustle and bustle of the city's festive highlights also has its center around the city harbor, at the annual Müritz Sail in the second half of May or at the traditional Müritz Festival. https://www.auf-nach-mv.de/reiseziele/a-stadthafen-waren-mueritz

Impressive nature, rare birds and a recovering moor landscape. There are small, wooden observation towers from which you can look far.
