The problem is that Bad Nenndorf has closed off the park and the Süntelbuchen because the Federal Garden Show will take place in Bad Nenndorf in 2026.

Impressive beech trees opposite the refuge, further south there are more beech trees, although they are not as big yet

Also great for graveling!

The spa park is a great place to relax and take a stroll, especially when the weather is nice. There is a lot to discover here: the romantic little castle, beautiful flowerbeds, fountains and the enchanted Süntelbuchenallee. Definitely worth a visit!

When I was there, it was less crowded and not as spectacular. But it was very beautifully situated.

The Calenberger Land is a historical landscape that included Neustadt am Rübenberge, Hanover and Hameln. Today the name is mostly used as a regional name for the much smaller southwest of the Hanover region, where Calenberg Castle is located.
