A beautiful bike path leads you along the Murg River through the valley. Cycling almost seems to do itself. :) Until the 19th century, the Murg River was used as an important trade route for timber rafting.

In the distance, you can see the houses of Baiersbronn. This town is the most popular tourist destination in Baden-Württemberg. Baiersbronn is particularly known for its chefs and restaurants, which boast top-class culinary excellence. But Baiersbronn is also a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

At an elevation of up to 971 meters, the Kniebis Pass stretches through the Black Forest. The pass was once an important point on the long-distance trade route from Strasbourg to Ulm. Today, the Kniebis Pass is a popular tourist destination.

Several kilometers of exquisite gravel trails await you in the Black Forest National Park. You'll find great cycling alternatives alongside the often busy Black Forest High Road (B500). Incidentally, the Black Forest Nature Park is the first in Baden-Württemberg.
