The Saaleturm is a wooden observation tower completed in 2011 with a height of 43 m and 192 steps. The top observation platform is 36 meters high, two further platforms are at 4.50 and 7.50 meters. Climbing the tower is worthwhile and there is a fee of 2 euros.

The tower has a turnstile and is under video surveillance. Entry costs 2 euros and cannot be exchanged. The view is very worth it! Fantastic panoramic views of the Saale valley, the Burgkhammer dam and Burgk Castle. The tower is 43 m high and the symbol of the town.
