The Plisseetal is one of the 4.5 climbing areas around Ibbenbüren. Many children had their first top-rope experiences on this slab. @Tommy: The rings (usually glued here, by the way) are for safety, not to make climbing easier.

The steep climb through the Plisseetal is worth it, you are rewarded with a magnificent view!

There are hiking and climbing trails for every taste, and the views are magnificent! Wear hiking boots, as some sections are challenging :O)

I like to think back to this great hike. Due to the elevation profile, it may be a bit challenging for older people. But you are rewarded with wide views, a historic path and beautiful nature.
