Well-preserved former border tower. Stamp 23 from the northern Harz foothills is also directly on the tower.

The tower looks very massive but also well maintained. The ascent was worth it, we had a good view of the wide country.

On beautiful paths you come to Asseburg castle ruins where you can see what these buildings should be. Built on the mountain to get a view and to protect it. Thick walls testify to this. Much has already grown over and taken back from nature
