Malchow is a beautiful old town. The island location is special. Both parts of the city are connected by a swing bridge.

The marina in Plau is located under the striking lighthouse at the entrance and exit to Plauer See. It is only a few steps to the old town. Plau is an ideal location for a tour of the large lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District or for the Elde river adventure to Schwerin.
