The Kölpinsee on Usedom is about 1 kilometer long and 350 meters wide. The lake, also known as the "Swan Lake", is about 200 meters from the Baltic Sea and is separated from the sea by a foredune and a protective dike. A circular path leads around the lake, which can be explored on foot or by bike. Visitors can also rent rowing boats to experience the lake directly.

Wellness for the senses, if only there weren't any mosquitoes ;-)

Quiet stretch of road on the southern shore of Lake Kölpinsee. Pure nature.

Also one of the beautiful large lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District. A complete circuit is only possible together with the Fleesensee (approx. 50 km). Rarely visible to hikers, especially in the southeast (beware of the nudist beach).

A very nice place with a great view on the tour around the Kölpinsee and the Jabelscher See. Great for a short rest. There are many entrances into the water to take a refreshing dip.

You walk along the Kölpinsee and are amazed when cairns suddenly rise out of the water. Skilled builds the next lucky charm.

If you can, go into the shallow water and add another one😉.

If you take some time in the bison park and go to the shore, you will have a wonderful view of the lake with many water lilies. The place invites you to linger a little and let your mind wander.
