It is a very interesting water reservoir, not only because of its natural values, but also because of its location right next to the palace and park complex in Stoła. The shores of the lake are mostly covered with reeds, riparian forests and swamps. This is a reservoir where you can successfully fish. The fishing spot is rather shallow, 1-2 m deep and accessible by floating means. You can catch here mainly pike and tench, but also crucian carp, perch, eel, bream and roach. The lake can be reached by a road made of concrete slabs. On one of its shores there is a small recreational and beach area with a beach, and small boats are moored nearby. An interesting fact is that fragments of the so-called American bomber were found in the tank. "Flying Fortress", which was shot down by the Germans in the spring of 1944.

The park around the Słoneczne Lake in Gumieńce will have its patron from 2021. By decision of the city councilors in Szczecin, the park is named Adina Blady-Szwajger. Adina Blady-Szwajger, pediatrician; after graduating from high school in 1934, she began studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warsaw; In 1939, during the defense of Warsaw, she ran a medical aid station; from March 11, 1940, she worked at the Children's Hospital. Miodowa. Her courage and heroism were an example to others. On August 29, she walked through the sewers from the Old Town to Śródmieście and here, until the end of the uprising, she worked in the hospital at ul. Mokotowska. In January 1945, she began working at the Central Committee of Polish Jews as a specialist for children's affairs and a pediatrician. Her mission at that time was to find children in shelters and hiding places, to try to save the sick and starving, survivors of the Holocaust. Always involved in the fight for the health and mental condition of all young patients. From 1960 she lived in Szczecin; she ran an anti-tuberculosis clinic and an anti-tuberculosis sanatorium for children in a building at ul. Moniuszki 20

Lake Wiedze is a drainless reservoir located in a post-glacial gutter, fed only by atmospheric precipitation and underground water, area: 31 ha, maximum depth: 6 m. It is also a beautiful guarded beach and a district of Szczecin.
