Very beautiful complex that is located directly on the motorway but is shielded by the forest and the large garden. The orangery is beautifully designed and has wonderfully fragrant flowers, while the complex itself is perfect for a stroll. Belvedere Palace above the city of Weimar was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, along with other buildings of "Classical Weimar". The path below the palace leads you directly to the city park and then to the beautiful old town.

Belvedere Palace, the baroque summer residence of the von Sachsen-Weimar and Eisenach family, is located on a hill south of Weimar in the middle of a spacious park with an orangery, pleasure garden and maze. It has been a museum for 18th-century arts and crafts since 1923, in which exquisite porcelain from the Weimar ducal family can be seen.
