A beautiful historic market square, well-preserved and restored half-timbered houses, a few cafes and ice cream parlors invite you to sit outside in the summer.

The fountain dominates the square opposite the town hall.

On the side of the town hall is the carillon, consisting of fifteen bells. These symbolize the 15 districts of Bad Rodach. The carillon symbolizes the unity of the town of Bad Rodach and commemorates the completion of the municipal reform in 1978. This declaration can be found beneath the carillon.

This beautifully designed seating area, created by wood sculptor Max Müller, is located on Burgstrasse, right next to the Victoria Rondell at the beginning of the footpath to the fortress, and is part of the children's play area. Beautifully designed and decorated with carvings, the space is not only an eye-catcher but also invites you to linger for a while.

In keeping with the artistically minded sovereign's philosophy, the theatrical element was not neglected in the design of this outdoor retreat. A small arbor was created on the Commandant's Building beneath a monumental scene depicting Saint George fighting his archenemy – the dragon. Since the 19th century, the Commandant's Building has been adorned with a monumental mural depicting Saint George with the dragon. The focal point of Bad Königshofen is the large market square with its three ornamental fountains: the Luitpold Fountain under the linden tree, the Röhrenbrunnen (Tube Fountain), and the Michaelsbrunnen (Michael Fountain), above which the wrought-iron angel "floats." The Vierröhrenbrunnen (Four-Tube Fountain) in front of the Schlundhaus (Thrush House) was fed by a water pipe even before the Thirty Years' War, making it an important part of the town. Also located on the market square is the medieval Kornstein (cornstone) from 1525, which formerly served as a grain measuring device.
