A path leads up from the historic market square in about 15 minutes. The ticket booth is at the foot of the castle ruins. Adults €3

Beilstein is a beautiful place with great little streets and of course a ferry across the Moselle. But very crowded on the weekend, very pleasant during the week. Metternich Castle with a great view is also highly recommended. The €3 entrance fee is worth it.
