The forester's house is located in the Annweiler community forest, with a history dating back to 1304. Today it is a popular tourist destination with its own circular trails. I have great respect for the current landlady, who has turned the property into a real gem! It is the only place to stop for refreshments in the area, but emphasis is still placed on a creative range of dishes at reasonable prices. But don't worry: there is also currywurst and other classic dishes. You can even drive here. However, it is particularly beautiful if you have explored the place on foot. It is particularly idyllic here in the summer in the beautiful beer garden! Also: very tasty, small menu (also for vegetarians)!

Good place to stop for hikers and cyclists. Super delicious food for an acceptable price, plates are very richly filled 👍🏼 Nice service, good ambience and changing daily specials round everything off 😇 Definitely worth a visit.
