We started the tour in the parking lot below Villa Ludwigshöhe and walked on Villastrasse with the wine trail towards Edenkoben. Today it was 15 kilometers through the beautiful Odenwald from Ober-Abtsteinach to Weinheim. The path was very varied and mostly went gently downhill. An absolute highlight in Rothenburg ob der Tauber: the walk or the city tour on the old city wall! This is provided with a covered walkway, open to the inside and provided with many loopholes and "gugg holes". There are stairs at many of the 42 towers and city gates.
