Reopened in March 2019 after a longer renovation phase (than planned).
Beautiful sun terrace next to a large lawn with climbing frames.
Young, friendly team offers Palatinate home cooking with a twist.
Recommendation: Saumagen-Maultaschen!

Also fully recommended for overnight stays. We spent a family reunion here over the weekend, and the landlord and his staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating (and the culinary support at the barbecue evening was sensational!).

The Forsthaus Annweiler is currently open Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. - please check schwarzer-fuchs.de to be sure. There are 60 seats in the inn itself, 65 seats in the beer garden, and 9 rooms with a total of 24 beds.
The food, drinks and service can be highly recommended.
