The Beeder Biotope is home to many animal species. In addition to Konik horses and Heck cattle, the white stork and nutria are now at home there. Due to the sometimes narrow spots at the viewpoints on the bike trail, you should always watch out for each other :-) "Lawn" is not so good when there are high numbers of people ;-), even if the great asphalt invites you to do so. The Premium Trail Hexenklamm is a rather short premium hiking trail at 7.1 km. It starts at the sports field in Gersbach, a suburb of Pirmasens on the edge of the Palatinate Forest. The tour leads past breathtaking panoramic views, the rustic Stockwaldhütte, the historic bunkers of the West Wall. The highlight of the hike is the Hexenklamm. Several waterfalls flow through the narrow gorge over bizarre rock formations. Highly recommended.
