Blieskastel is a magnificent baroque town with a special flair. In my opinion, Blieskastel is one of the most beautiful towns in Saarland, along with Saarlouis and St. Wendel.

Blieskastel, a small historic town, has a pleasant pedestrian zone that runs through the old town. This pedestrian zone is mainly located on and around the market square and is surrounded by beautifully preserved historic buildings in the Baroque style. In this part of the town you will find numerous cafes, restaurants, boutiques and local shops offering regional products and traditional food.

Great opportunity to take a break. Here in the old town on the Paradeplatz there are benches to linger. In addition, everything is on offer here, from ice cream parlors to restaurants.
