The Beeder Biotope is home to many animal species. In addition to Konik horses and Heck cattle, the white stork and nutria are now at home there. Due to the sometimes narrow spots at the viewpoints on the bike trail, you should always watch out for each other :-) "Lawn" is not so good when there are high numbers of people ;-), even if the great asphalt invites you to do so. Through the natural monument Elendsklamm and the beginning of the Sickinger Höhe with the pigeon head on the German premium hiking trail. Impressive gorge with a “primeval forest”, which is a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. The path along the gorge is well developed and secured with railings, bridges and steps. When inspecting in late autumn and winter, make sure that you have weather-appropriate equipment. In midsummer the gorge offers a welcome cool hiking trail.

You shouldn't just drive past, you should also stop, admire the beauty and marvel at the many animal species. If you're lucky, you'll see the muskrat family too. Amazingly large and peaceful animals.
