Especially in summer, Lake Ohmbach is a great place for all ages. There are restaurants, boat rentals, playgrounds, a campsite and plenty of benches. A walk along the shore is about 3 kilometres long.

Beautiful lake, beautiful nature around it, I highly recommend everyone to visit this area!

Great wide view and you save meters in altitude because you don't have to go down into town. Makes the rail cycle path really great.

The Ohmbachsee was created by damming up the Ohmbach through a dam. Was created as a flood retention basin and completed in 1978. In winter it is lowered to 2?3 of its water surface for reasons of flood protection. Not required in 2018 and 2022 as the water level was even lower. One circumnavigation is about 3 km, depending on which way you take. There are currently 2 restaurants there, but you should find out about the opening times.
