The Bridge Gate of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River is the town's landmark and stands on the southern bank of the Moselle Bridge. Designed by Bruno Möhring as a decorative bridge closure, it has housed a café-restaurant since its construction. In the 1960s, a renovation added a gallery with temporary exhibitions. 👌🏼Here as well as in the entire city: Great well-kept facades, beautiful rustic half-timbered houses with lots of charm & idyll. Wonderful photo opportunities 👌🏼🎨📷.

A wonderful, rather inconspicuous café, a little away from the main tourist crowds. Lovingly decorated (be sure to use the toilet!!) and run by two Swiss people with a lot of heart. Exquisite, homemade cakes, fine teas, delicious coffee. We came across this place by chance and were even able to sit outside and enjoy ourselves.
