The first stone defensive tower in Urphar probably existed as early as the 8th century, when the village was first mentioned. At the end of the 10th century, the defensive tower was rebuilt on its original foundations. It received an apse on the east side. The nave was added in 1296/97. Around 1340, a cross-arched vault was added to the choir tower. In the late 15th century, a confessional chapel (today's sacristy) with a six-part cross vault was added to the north wall of the choir, giving the church essentially its present appearance. It was originally a Catholic church. Older components were likely reused during the construction of the confessional chapel, as one of its windows is still of Romanesque origin. Wertheim Village is a factory outlet center located in the Almosenberg industrial park of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district in northern Baden-Württemberg. The outlet center opened in 2003 at the Wertheim/Lengfurt junction of the A3 motorway and was gradually expanded in the following years. The outlet center welcomes up to 2.8 million visitors annually and, thanks to its location on the A3 motorway, has a nationwide catchment area, particularly in Frankfurt am Main, Würzburg, Nuremberg, and Mannheim. Approximately 3,500 parking spaces are available for visitors. With a total area of 27,000 square meters, Wertheim Village comprises approximately 110 stores with items from over 100 German and international brands in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors.
