Wanderers follow in the footsteps of the famous Steinweg-Steinway family of piano builders. On May 9th, exactly 5 years ago, the Steinway Trail was opened after an extensive planning phase. With a lot of flair, numerous details line the hiking trail, which always guide you from Wolfshagen to Seesen. Eight information boards in the shape of the rim - that's what the piano case is called - tell the story of the family and provide background information on piano construction. In memory of the services of the Steinway family, the towns of Seesen and Langelsheim have created an informative hiking trail with the financial support of the Volksbank & Volksbank Foundation.
