The fitness trail is in a wonderful location and runs in a circuit across the forest with relatively easy up and down stretches. In November weather, however, you should not wear slippery shoes, it slips quite a bit. Then once you find the first station (which gave me some trouble) it's easy to follow the trail. Stamping points of the Deister hiking pass ~ No. 5 NaturFreundehaus Deisterhütte (unfortunately the stamp is in the house, rarely is anyone on site so you have to make do with the replacement code. It is on the outside of the white building.

The Naturfreundehaus Deisterhütte is a cozy hostel. Directly adjacent are some children's play equipment and a large sandbox for the little ones. For older children and young people there is a sports field, a volleyball court and a campsite. A multi-generation place completes the offer. You can hike on many circular routes that start here. There is also a bird trail and a forest trail.

Be careful, sometimes mountain bikers shoot past here at high speed, so be careful when leaving the hut. 😮
