The Roikier See (also: Roikiersee) is a forest lake that is part of the Groß-Tremmerup forest near Glücksburg (Baltic Sea). It is approximately 3.6 hectares in size and is probably the only real forest lake in the fishing region. The Roikier See was created in the 13th century from a moor area cleared by monks from the Cistercian monastery in Glücksburg at the time. The lake was used for fresh water supply and carp breeding. Simply a nice and uncrowded corner despite the nearby campsite. The beach lounge offers food and drink and impresses with its friendly staff. You can also sit comfortably outside in the sandy area. Additional deck chairs are available on the beach free of charge. If the beach lounge isn't open, you can also get something from the campsite kiosk.
