Beautiful rest area with terrace and roof.

From the ball game you can enjoy a view of the Capuchins and the ball game tower, although in midsummer it is largely obscured by the foliage of the trees.

Protected me from a brief thunderstorm. I made my way back to the hut at the first drop and was there just in time before the downpour.

Very nice place for an overnighter. If you want to spend the night there under the open sky, you should first obtain the consent of the Franconian Switzerland Association.

Ideal place to rest. There is a covered patio with seating.

Great impressive scout house. Our children really wanted to take part.

It's not just a "normal" crossroads, but it's worth staying here for a moment. If you have a sense of humor, read the signposts. Those who are exhausted from the ascent can rest on the bench. If you are hungry for knowledge, you can get information from the information boards and if you are interested in history, you will find a small board with an explanation at the Rabenwald hut and a gateway to the endless information expanses of the Internet using a QR code. And when you have consumed all that, you can happily walk or drive down the mountain again. :-)
