The summit of Eberhardsberg at 534 meters. Unfortunately, there's not much of a view. A small sign points to the mountain. Next to it is a nice bench for resting and having a snack.

Climbing rocks in the forest and viewing platform

For climbers, the name Wailing Wall says it all. Anyone who tries to dig into the tiny holes here can quickly find themselves complaining. The rock is up to seven meters high and is part of the Signal Stone.

The lookout tower on the Schmidberg is one of Betzenstein's landmarks. From here you have a great panoramic view of the city and countryside. The steel, 12m high Schmidberg tower is 530m high and is the central point of the Schmidberg complex. You have a fantastic view over the small town with the protestant baroque church from the 18th century and the listed houses around it.
