The castle was built in 1534 by the patrician Sebastian Cammerer. In 1815 Johann Kielkalt from Nuremberg bought it and set it up as a restaurant. It is right at the entrance to the town and cannot be missed. https://hallerschloesschen.de/

Atzelsberg Castle boasts beautifully maintained grounds, and there's an inn with a lovely beer garden next door. It's located directly on the hiking trail and has a parking lot, making it a great starting point for hikes.

apostle linden "Thousand-year-old linden tree" Eight branches stretch out from the trunk of the linden tree. Part of it branches out, so that a total of twelve branches reach the outer ring of stones. The number twelve represents the twelve apostles, twelve hours, twelve months and twelve signs of the zodiac. According to mysticism, it is a so-called apostle linden tree, of which there are very few in Germany.
