The beautiful (pedestrian) bridge made of metal struts meanders across the river and provides an impressive photo opportunity. It can be reached after about 2 km on a gravel path from the car park in Tirschenreuth. Right next to it is a table with benches for a picnic and of course you should also visit the "Stairway to Heaven" in the immediate vicinity.

There is a large seating area at the top. The view over the lakes is fantastic. If you are planning a walk here, you should look up.

Curious bridge is a must-see

The Heusterz Bridge is an architectural treat. Built in 2010. And if you don't know, the popular picnic can be delivered here. Find out, it's a lot of fun and, above all, delicious.

The “Himmelsleiter” observation tower, designed by the local architectural firm Brückner & Brückner, is an imposing structure 70 meters long and 20 meters high. From above you can see a sea of colors: red and yellow, green and ocher brown - each pond water glitters in a different tone.

In 1347, Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian had Schellenberg Castle, which was then called "Lug ins Land", built to protect against attacks from Bohemia. On July 12, 1498, the castle was stormed under the leadership of Captain Konrad von Wirsberg, who was in the service of the Margrave of Brandenburg. The castle was partially destroyed. Their owner, Knight Moritz von Guttenberg, was captured. The castle was never rebuilt.

As if by a giant hand, granite blocks are piled on top of each other, which are actually reminiscent of stacked loaves of bread. A silver cross can be seen on top of the rock.

The Havran, in German Großer Rabenberg, is located on the Czech side of the Upper Palatinate Forest. Arriving at the observation tower, you have a magnificent view of the Bohemian Forest and the Upper Palatinate Forest.
