Gaisweiher는 Flossenbürg와 Hildweinsreuth 사이에 있습니다. Hildweinsreuth에는 중앙 유럽의 중심이 있습니다. Gaisweiher에서는 Flossenbürg 성 유적도 볼 수 있습니다.

아름다운 곳에 위치한 Gaisweiher 호수 바로 옆에 있는 연중무휴 캠핑장입니다. 테라스식 시설에는 약 200개의 장소가 있습니다. 캐러밴과 캠핑카를 위한 장소 외에도 별도의 텐트 구역, 취침용 통나무집, 아파트도 있습니다. 9헥타르 규모의 자연 수영장으로 바로 연결되는 점이 특히 좋습니다. 캠핑객을 위해 선탠 잔디밭, 비치발리볼, 어린이 놀이터, 잘 개발된 하이킹 및 자전거 도로망도 이용할 수 있습니다. 개도 목줄을 착용하면 숙소에서 허용됩니다.

힐트바인스이르트에는 중앙 유럽의 지리적 중심이 있습니다. 현재의 기념물은 1985년에 세워졌으며 화강암 원반과 금속 원뿔로 지점을 표시합니다. 하지만: 유럽의 중심점은 하나로 통일되어 있지 않습니다. 계산 방법에 따라, 그리고 사용된 경계에 따라 다양한 장소가 유럽의 중심점으로 결정되었습니다. 불과 몇 킬로미터 떨어진 곳, 바트 노이알벤이르트 근처에는 또 다른 역사적인 "유럽의 중심점"이 있습니다. 이는 1865년 측량으로 거슬러 올라갑니다. 어쨌든 유럽 한가운데 서 있는 것은 특별한 느낌입니다.

The reservoir provides flood protection for the surrounding communities, especially the town of Tirschenreuth. During periods of low rainfall, water stored in the lake is released. In addition, renewable energy is generated through hydropower using a Francis turbine. Energy production is managed by Bayerische Landeskraftwerke GmbH. The spiral turbine is fed with lake water via a 110-meter-long bottom outlet tunnel. The generator's average annual output is approximately 0.57 million kilowatt-hours.

The cross-country skiing center is worth a visit in both summer and winter. In summer, mountain biking and hiking are popular, while in winter, cross-country skiing on excellently groomed skating and classic trails, as well as snowshoeing all the way to Goldbach in the Czech Republic, is a great option. In winter, you can change and warm up in the modern activity building. On winter weekends, the kiosk is also worth a visit, if it's open. You can check its opening status using the app and on the center's webcams. Paying the small fee at the parking lots below helps with the upkeep of the trails and tracks.
