Great route, lots of places to rest, good views of the landscape to the right and left.

There are quite a few benches and/or seats along the railway embankment. This makes this railway embankment ideal for a short break

Good, new developed cycle path

From Brockel, the cycle path that was built in the 1980s on the old railway line goes via Bretel to Wittorf. From Wittorf, you can reach Visselhövede directly via the cycle path on the B440. There is a brand new connection from Sandhasenweg, the inner-city cycle path in Rotenburg, mostly on the old railway line towards Visselhövede, to the brand new Fidi-Boon-Wech via Hemsbünde to Brockel. This is the cycle path on the old railway line Rotenburg - Brockel. All in all, a great connection. Fast and interesting and of course it also works the other way round.
