Really beautiful scenery - worth seeing.

Wemding has a beautiful town center. It is the birthplace of Leonhart Fuchs. The fuchsia (plant) was named after him.

The Harburg is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved castles in Germany. That alone makes it worth a hike.

If you approach the Rieder Tor from the old town, you have a very nice view of it with the branch of the Danube. The environment is very attractively designed, so that the detour is worthwhile.

The castle was a highlight for me, it is located on the outskirts of Harburg, the mighty castle complex can only amaze you, with individual use, including a hotel for festivities or guided tours. Entry prices start at €3.50.
