The beer garden with a very large play park is really nice. To clarify: it is not a beer garden in the classic sense, i.e. with chestnuts, draft beer, etc. But the people there are friendly, the newly built cycle path down to Egglkofen is beautiful, so everything is recommendable.

The development of the Balkspitze with seating and lying areas as well as a fitness and exercise course was carried out with minimal interference with the existing nature. While the southern part of the meadow remains largely untouched as a species-rich wet meadow, the front part of the meadow is available as a recreation area. Numerous activity areas and wooden sculptures along the path serve as seating and climbing opportunities and are ideal for young and old to linger. Directly at the Spitz, at the confluence of the Große Vils with the canal, a paved area and the possibility of a small stage were created, which can also be seen from the Vils promenade opposite. In the southern area, play and relaxation areas were created for children and seniors with a climbing forest, a marble run and an oversized bird's nest. The sporting experience is also not neglected: a fitness trail with a running distance of 700 meters in length and two stations for fitness exercises rounds off the leisure activities.
