After the bike tour, a refreshing swim in the green lagoon, a natural bathing lake

Behind the pizzeria there is a beautiful lake for swimming. That was a great surprise and a welcome way to cool off.

A beautiful castle, picturesquely situated in a park-like setting and surrounded by moats, which gives it the name "water castle". It is a Renaissance building, built in the 16th century. The architecture of the castle as well as the surrounding landscape make it a popular destination for visitors interested in history and architecture.

On April 28, 1945, the Mühldorf concentration camp was evacuated, the approximately 2,000 surviving concentration camp prisoners were crammed into freight wagons and transported away, only the terminally ill were left behind in the forest camp.

Huge concrete arch of the former winery. Is probably the "highlight" of the memorial. There are signs and panels with explanations and old pictures everywhere on site.

Good access by car, bike and also on foot. A rather quiet place, depending on the weather of course.

Impressive bunker system. The actual construction work on Weingut I began in July 1944. The plans envisaged a bunker consisting of twelve arches, which would extend 400 m in east-west direction. At the bottom it was designed to be 85 m wide. The interior height was planned to be 32.2 m, 19.2 m below ground level. The arches reached a thickness of three meters, which was later to be reinforced by another layer of concrete to a total of five meters.
