A beautiful lake on the edge of Erding. Visually, the lake appears to be of excellent quality. There are some ants in the area of the nudist beach... 🐜🐜🐜

Beautiful adventure playground with many attractions for the little ones

With an area of 22 hectares, the Erdnger Weiher is the largest quarry pond in the district of Erding. It was built in 1965 for gravel mining. Today it is a local recreation area.

The city park is the central green lung of the large district town. Designed in the first half of the 19th century by Walter Freiherr von Grainger as the exclusive palace park of the Heilig Blut estate, it is now open to all residents and guests. As late as 2012, the park was in an overgrown state, but was then completely redesigned and reopened in 2013. Today it is a great attraction for young and old thanks to its numerous leisure facilities (playgrounds, animal enclosures, fitness course, benches, sempt, etc.).

The term Herzogburg Aerding with a focus on the history of the city was chosen as the main theme for this second adventure playground in Erding city park, designed for 3-6 year old children. The play area, which is surrounded by a ring of water with a low water level, forms the Erding old town oval. The island is bordered by high brick walls with bastion-like bulges, which symbolize the city wall. The transitions to the island are made via game elements such as bridges, footbridges and fords. Some of the typical historical uses have been recreated as game situations. The highlight of the island is the "Altstadtturm", a tower-like climbing structure with a tube slide.
