A beautiful little lake. A pizzeria and a restaurant with good plain cooking are right on the lake. There is also a playground and a gym.

two restaurants at the Waldsee invite you to take a break, an Italian one on the southern shore of the lake and a German restaurant on the northern one. Both look nice, the German one has a terrace right over the lake and also offers a snack bar for people in a hurry or just need a quick bite.

Great view over the Eifel. The location markings on the parapet above help with orientation. Unfortunately, up here at the weekend you can always hear the engine noise from the Nürburgring.
