There is also room for a group to take a break in the shelter. Waste bin included. Around the corner there is a forest sofa with a view of Hohenleimbach. The second half of the Bergheidenweg is not quite as interesting as the first half.

After the climb there is a very nice rest area with a hut, barbecue area and a fantastic view...

The hut with the amazing view can be easily incorporated into hiking, cycling and moped tours 😉

Especially on stormy days, the refuge offers a welcome shelter with its wide panoramic views.

The second half of the path is no longer quite as scenic in terms of landscape as the first half, unfortunately a large part of it is on country roads
