The ruins of the Margarethen church are located at the foot of the Arnstein monastery mountain. As the mother church, it presided over 72 chapels and churches in the Taunus and Westerwald in the 10th century (Middle Ages). A short, narrow path leads directly behind the church to the monastery wall of the Arnstein monastery. If the path is too steep, take the road. There are parking spaces not only at the Klostermühle leisure center and Bible school and at the ruins of the Margarethen church, but also at the Arnstein monastery.

The ruins of the Brunnenburg monastery are located above the Lahn valley near Bremberg. From the former Benedictine monastery only parts of the choir, the westwork and the side aisles are preserved today.
