The Protestant castle church is integrated into the castle complex. In the beautiful church there are details from the long history of the church and the county of Isenburg that are worth seeing.

Meerholz Castle was built in the 16th century. In the eastern part is the castle church with a tower from 1560. The Protestant church is now “responsible” for Hailer-Meerholz. There are still some gravestones in the beautiful church, which has two galleries.

The city of Gelnhausen is well worth seeing - in addition to the Imperial Palace, the Protestant St. Mary's Church, there are also many beautiful half-timbered houses on both the Obermarkt and Untermarkt.
