From the Concordia Tower, the descent begins from the heights of the Lahn ridges in the Westerwald to the banks of the river. Several stops along the way, including the so-called "Mooshütte" (Moss Hut) dating from 1831, invite you to linger and enjoy the panorama of the river and the city.

It can often be very stormy and rainy up here. The shelter is very welcome.

Very nice route along the water. There is a rest area with benches at Jammertal. There are generally a few places to sit. You have to expect muddy terrain.

Idyllically located mill with restoration in the Gelbach Valley. Away from the main hustle and bustle, cozy... note opening times!

Attention, Tuesday is a rest day! - Otherwise I can recommend the trout miller! I have rarely eaten such a delicious one. 😋
