            The Mooshütte is located on the Bäderlei and combines a great panoramic view of Bad Ems with a nice picnic option. The Westerwald begins north (right) of the Lahn and the Taunus begins to the south (left). The rocky mountain ridge on which we stand fascinated spa guests in the Romantic era. The Heinzelmann Caves a little below here provided material for imaginative stories. As early as 1816, a rock path was laid out for riding donkeys and the first moss hut was built here. Today's refuge dates from 1992. Travel guides such as the Baedecker from 1835 praised the route."

            Always along the famous Bäderlei, rocky outcrops offer the most beautiful view of the Kaiserbad. The wildly romantic rock path was already praised by Baedecker in 1846 as a unique opportunity to discover the Bad Ems landscape. And the famous writer Dostoyevsky even called them the most picturesque rocks in the world. Via the Emser Bäderlei you either go directly to the Concordia Tower with one of the best views over Bad Ems, or you take a short turn to the Mooshütte, a meeting point for lovers. There are also the legendary Heinzelmann Caves, a geomorphological natural phenomenon, to marvel at."
