Super nice vantage point with wonderful views. Steep climb from Hausach.

From here you have a wonderful view towards Hausach and along the Kinzig valley.

Unattended refuge with a lounge with tables and benches. Via stairs to the bare attic where you can sleep. There is a spring to the west of the Farrenkopf, which is signposted for coming from both the north and south.

From the Brandenkopf you have a very nice view over the Black Forest. You can also see the Swabian Alb and with good visibility you can see as far as the Alps. The fee for climbing the tower is € 0.60, a worthwhile investment. There is also a hiking home of the Black Forest Association on the summit. Here you can refresh yourself with food and drink after the difficult ascent!
