말친 남쪽에 있는 약 10km 길이의 야생적이고 낭만적인 돌파 계곡입니다. Peenhäuser/Demzin에서 말친 지역(B 104 북쪽 철도 다리까지)까지 대략 뻗어 있습니다.

교회 문은 닫혀 있었습니다. 하지만 주변의 묘지는 경이롭습니다. 도구들은 입구의 보드에 걸려 있습니다. 그 도구들을 보면 작업한 흔적을 알 수 있습니다. 아쉽게도 그 사람을 만나지는 못했지만, 방문 초대에 정중히 응했습니다.

The church was originally built as a fortified church by farmers from Meesig after the Thirty Years' War. It was first documented in 1255 and originally belonged to the Verchen Monastery before being reintegrated into the Verchen parish.

It originally served as the town's central water supply, with the central water supply being completed in 1903. The tower was externally renovated in the mid-1990s and sold by the town of Malchin to a private developer in 2006 to create residential space in the tower.

The monument was renovated in 2025 and now shines again in its former glory....

The medieval village church, with its rich Baroque interior, still contains elements dating back to the mid-13th century. However, it was renovated and altered in 1760. The church contains three gravestones of members of the old Mecklenburg noble family of Maltzahn. Dating back to 1227, the church is in good condition thanks to restoration in the late 1980s. Among the church's special features are the richly decorated pulpit altar and the Grüneberg organ, built around 1850.

St. John's Church is a typical North German brick Gothic building. The church consists of a 42-meter-long and 22-meter-high nave, a choir, a vestibule, and a massive, offset tower. The accessible 65-meter-high tower offers a fantastic panorama of Mecklenburg Switzerland all the way to Lake Kummerow.
