The miller's house on the Ulrichshusen estate (in Tressow) is a historic building on the estate grounds, now used as holiday accommodation. The miller's house is not a spectacular, standalone monument with its own extensive history, but rather an authentic remnant of the Ulrichshusen estate's agricultural operations – lovingly restored today and part of the von Maltzahn family's successful tourism and cultural project.

A fieldstone building with brick detailing, a magnificently designed blind gable, and a tower with two Renaissance bells dating from 1598. The Renaissance altar (circa 1600): Unique in Central Europe with its original paintwork, six meters wide, and featuring carved reliefs (e.g., the Nativity, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection). It is considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance altars in village churches throughout Germany.

It originally served as the town's central water supply, with the central water supply being completed in 1903. The tower was externally renovated in the mid-1990s and sold by the town of Malchin to a private developer in 2006 to create residential space in the tower.

I can only recommend the Gasthaus Alter Schafstall. Great service, delicious food, and you can even charge your e-bike for free. You just need to bring your charging cable with you.

The Sommersdorf estate was owned by the von Maltzahn family, who had their headquarters on the neighboring Kummerow estate. The Rewoldt family is listed as the last owners. After the previous building burned down in 1924, the building was rebuilt in a modified form. During the Nazi era, the manor house was used as a "farm school for the training of young farmers." After 1945, the manor house initially housed refugees, and later it also served as residential accommodation. In 2005, construction work was carried out on the exterior facade and roof of the manor house. Today, the house houses apartments. An outbuilding houses the Sommersdorf Volunteer Fire Department.

Built in 1886. The forerunners of the state postal service were the Dukes of Mecklenburg's early 16th-century messenger services, operated by professional couriers who delivered letters and other items on foot or horseback, and later by carriage, along fixed routes with stops and at specific times. By the end of the 16th century, they were called postmen. In 1663, there was a privatized (tenant-operated) traveling postal service from Güstrow to Neubrandenburg. A state postal service was established in 1701.

The village church in Bristow, a district of Schorssow in the Rostock district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, is considered the oldest Protestant village church in Mecklenburg. The church's interior still features numerous decorative Renaissance-style features. The parish belongs to the Rostock provostship in the Mecklenburg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany (Nordkirche).
