Many fruit growers have their farms in Jork and sell their produce at roadside stalls. Some of them also have farm cafés and host various events. Every year, Jork hosts the Butterkuchen Run, with the proceeds going to charity. Each participant receives a certificate and plenty of butterkuchen and apples. The run isn't just for adults; children with their parents and dog owners with their pets also take part. There are staggered start times to prevent overcrowding. Walkers are also welcome at this event. Jork offers many other enjoyable events as well. A visit is highly recommended and interesting! 👍🏼
