Contrary to what the name suggests, the marble stone is not made of marble but of Taunus quartzite. This rock can be seen on many break edges and cliffs in the Taunus.
From the Lümmelfelsen you have a wonderful view of the Emsbach valley and across to the Glaskopf (687m). It's actually a beautiful place, but since there is a car park nearby, it can be very crowded even on nice days.
