The mountain rescue station on the Grosser Feldberg in the Taunus is an important rescue facility located at an altitude of 881 meters. It is one of 11 emergency services of the DRK Bergwacht Hessen and supports the rescue service around the Grosser Feldberg. The station is open every weekend and on public holidays and can be reached via the emergency number 112.

The German Red Cross facility is present on the Großer Feldberg with a vehicle and paramedics on weekends and public holidays, and can be reached at any time via radio receiver on other days. Volunteers guarantee the safety of hikers on the Taunus slopes, which are sometimes quite rocky and surprisingly alpine in appearance.
