NaturFreunde Hessen e.V.에 대하여
Mit 6.000 Mitgliedern in 48 Ortsgruppen und 35 NaturFreunde-Häusern ist Hessen einer der großen NaturFreunde Landesverbände in Deutschland. Über die Mitgliedschaft des Landesverbands in der Bundesgruppe der NaturFreunde Deutschlands sind wir gleichzeitig Mitglied der Naturfreunde Internationale. Weltweit sind derzeit etwa 350.000 Menschen in 45 Mitglieds- und Partnerorganisationen mit den NaturFreunden aktiv. Damit gehören wir zu einer der größten Nichtregierungsorganisationen der Welt.
Wir haben den Anspruch, uns in aktuelle Politik einzumischen und deren Ausrichtung am Grundsatz der Nachhaltigkeit einzufordern. Das solidarische Miteinander innerhalb der eigenen Generation, zwischen den Generationen und in der Einen Welt, in der für alle Menschen der gleichberechtigte Zugang zu den Lebensgrundlagen, zu Arbeit und Bildung gewährleistet werden soll, ist einer unsere Grundsätze. Unsere Zukunftsvision beinhaltet eine wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, die dauerhaft mit sozialer Gerechtigkeit und ökologischer Verträglichkeit verbunden ist.
